Job Summary
A company is looking for a Code Edit Disputes Review Team Medical Coding Coordinator.
Key Responsibilities:
- Extract clinical information from medical records and assign appropriate procedural terminology and medical codes
- Analyze, enter, and manipulate database
- Respond to and clarify internal requests for medical information
Required Qualifications:
- AAPC (CPC) or AHIMA (CCS) coding certification
- Minimum of 2 years outpatient medical coding experience
- Medicare and/or Medicaid experience
- Prior healthcare experience
- Microsoft Office experience
