Patient Access Coordinator
Job Summary
A healthcare company is seeking a Remote Patient Access Coordinator.
Position Responsibilities
- Answer a high volume of calls a day using a multi-line phone and schedule appointments for multiple clinical sites
- Gather & input patient demographic and insurance information into the practice management system and report complex clinical issues to the appropriate supervisor/client partner
- Document call activity, outcomes, and other notes as needed in the client system and assist callers and navigate them to the appropriate resources
Required Qualifications
- Customer/patient service skills
- Experience handling a high volume of inbound calls
- Strong internet speed & access to router via Ethernet Cord (Minimum speed: 20mbps Download & 6mbps Upload)
