Job Summary
A company is looking for a Post Submission QA Coder.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct quality assurance audits for certified coders
- Provide training and educational coaching for new hires and internal promotions
- Collaborate inter-departmentally to report trends and opportunities for improvement
Required Qualifications:
- High School diploma or GED equivalent
- Certificate/License (CPC, COC, CRC, CPMA, CCS-P) required
- Minimum of three (3) to five (5) years HCC specific coding experience
- 1-year risk adjustment auditing or coding education strongly preferred
- Advanced understanding of medical terminology, pharmacology, body systems/anatomy, physiology, and concepts of disease processes
