Job Summary
A healthcare company is looking for a Pro Fee Coder in the Health Information Management industry.
Position Responsibilities:
- Select and sequence diagnostic and procedural codes for specific patient types
- Review and analyze facility records to ensure accurate diagnoses/procedures
- Abstract clinical data from the record to meet regulatory and compliance requirements
Required Qualifications:
- An active AHIMA or AAPC credential
- Two years of recent and relevant hands-on coding experience
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy and physiology, pharmacology, pathophysiology, ICD-10 and CPT/HCPCS code sets
- Ability to consistently code at 95% threshold for quality
- Proficient computer knowledge including MS Office
