Job Summary

A healthcare company is filling a position for a Remote Clinical Documentation Coder.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Reviewing, analyzing and coding diagnostic information in patient charts
  • Validating missed coding opportunities
  • Ensuring compliance with established coding guidelines, third party reimbursement policies, regulations and accreditation guidelines

Qualifications Include:

  • Professional Coding Certification such as CPC, CCS, or CCS-P
  • A minimum of 1 year of experience in advanced professional coding
  • Proficient with payer policies and guidelines
  • Familiarity with Electronic Health Records
  • Strong communication skills
  • Technology-savvy
