Job Summary
An information technology company has an open position for a Remote Data Engineering Group Leader.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Automating Big Data processes
- Designing and building our Big Data Platform
- Developing and implementing best-in-class monitoring processes
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- 5+ years of hands-on code development experience
- Experience building and optimizing data pipelines, distributed architectures etc
- Experience supporting and working with cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment
- Hands-on programming skills in two or more of Java, Scala or Python
- Working knowledge of Big Data technologies like Hadoop
- Good to have AWS Cloud experience
