Job Summary
A manufacturer of residential cabinets is seeking a Remote External Communications Director.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Define and execute an external communication strategy that aligns with and supports the company’s strategy
- Develop a strong understanding of the company’s products, markets served, manufacturing capabilities and strategy
- Partner with other company communications teams to develop and align messaging and collaborate on communications plans as needed
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- 10+ years’ experience in corporate external communications or public relations
- 3+ years’ experience in managing people
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, public relations, or related field
- Exceptional writing, editing and proofreading skills
- Strong verbal communication skills, as well as ability to present well
- Knowledge and understanding of current trends in digital media/social media
