Job Summary
A health insurance and wellness company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Inpatient Medical Coding Auditor.
Must be able to:
- Analyze, enter and manipulate database
- Increase the accuracy of provider contract payments in our payer systems
- Ensure correct claims payment and appropriate diagnosis related group (DRG) assignments
Qualifications Include:
- MS-DRG coding/ auditing experience
- Minimum of 1 years' work experience reading and interpreting claims
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
- RHIA, RHIT or CCS Certification (should have held at least one of these qualifications for 4 years)
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in performing inpatient coding reviews/ audits in health insurance and/or hospital settings
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
