Remote Lab Informatics Software Engineering Vice President
Job Summary
A leader in cell-free DNA testing, dedicated to oncology, women’s health, and organ health needs applicants for an opening for a Remote Lab Informatics Software Engineering Vice President.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Developing and executing a strategic vision for laboratory informatics systems
- Overseeing the entire software development life cycle
- Building and leading a high-performing software engineering team
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- 10+ years of executive experience in software engineering, with a focus on laboratory informatics, LIMS, or genomics platforms
- Proven experience in leading and managing large software engineering teams
- Strong understanding of the molecular diagnostics industry and regulatory landscape, including FDA, HIPAA, and CLIA requirements
- Knowledge of current generation of NGS instruments, liquid handlers, automation and lab robotics systems
- Experience with a variety of software development methodologies, including Agile, Scrum, and/or DevOps
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
