Remote Medical Biller and Coder

Job Summary

A health and wellness company has an open position for a Remote Medical Biller and Coder.

Must be able to:

• Accurately and efficiently code records for a primary care/wellness-based practice
• Complete assigned systematic checks
• Query providers when needed to obtain additional information

Position Requirements Include:

• High school diploma
• 5 years of professional/clinic billing experience
• 2 years current professional/clinic coding experience in Epic
• Strong background in medical billing and coding
• Current AAPC or AHIMA coding certification for professional services
• A working knowledge of current medical billing, coding and collections rules and requirements
