Job Summary

A technology and manufacturing company is in need of a Remote North America Principal Data Engineer.

Must be able to:

Guide and influence multiple engineering teams to deliver scalable data and analytics solutions
Design, implement and integrate new technologies and evolve data and analytics products
Contribute to all aspects of data engineering from ingestion, transformation, and consumption

Required Skills:

Bachelor/Master degree in Computer Science or related technical subject area
10+ years relevant work experience in the Data Engineering field
5+ years validated experience working with Hadoop and Big Data processing frameworks
2+ years experience building scalable, real-time and high-performance cloud data lake solutions
Experience with source control tools such as GitHub and related CI/CD processes
Experience working with NoSQL data stores such as HBase, DynamoDB, RESTful API’s
