Remote North America Principal Data Engineer
Job Summary
A technology and manufacturing company is in need of a Remote North America Principal Data Engineer.
Must be able to:
- Guide and influence multiple engineering teams to deliver scalable data and analytics solutions
- Design, implement and integrate new technologies and evolve data and analytics products
- Contribute to all aspects of data engineering from ingestion, transformation, and consumption
Required Skills:
- Bachelor/Master degree in Computer Science or related technical subject area
- 10+ years relevant work experience in the Data Engineering field
- 5+ years validated experience working with Hadoop and Big Data processing frameworks
- 2+ years experience building scalable, real-time and high-performance cloud data lake solutions
- Experience with source control tools such as GitHub and related CI/CD processes
- Experience working with NoSQL data stores such as HBase, DynamoDB, RESTful API’s
