Job Summary

A non-profit, multi-specialty, academic medical center is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Professional Fee Coder III.

Core Responsibilities of this position include:

• Comparing and reconciling daily patient schedules
• Maintaining records to be used for reconciliation
• Investigating and resolving charge errors

Qualifications Include:

• High School Diploma / GED or equivalent
• CCS-P, CPC, RHIA, RHIT, COC, or CCA
• 3 years coding to include 1 year of complex coding experience in a health care environment
• Working knowledge of human anatomy and physiology
• Specific training related to CPT procedural coding and ICD9 CM diagnostic coding through continuing education
• Demonstrate and maintain accuracy and proficiency in coding and claims editing
