Job Summary
A software development company has an open position for a Remote Senior Accounting Controller Director.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Overseeing compliance over the Company-sponsored retirement plan with respect to ERISA and IRS regulations
- Collaborating with HR to ensure alignment around bonus and sales commission comp plans
- Managing all business insurance contracts
Qualifications for this position include:
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting with an active CPA license in good standing
- 10+ years of progressive experience in public accounting and private industry
- Extensive experience in SEC reporting, technical accounting, and other external reporting functions
- Experience in building and leading the accounting function at scale
- Extensive knowledge of large-scale ERP systems with expert-level Microsoft Excel skills
- Ability to translate complex financial concepts to individuals at all levels including non-finance managers
