Job Summary

A healthcare research company is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Senior Bioinformatics Engineer.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

  • Designing and implementing efficient and horizontally-scalable bioinformatics software
  • Maintaining a high level of software reliability by adhering to and enforcing sound engineering principles
  • Taking the initiative to rigorously investigate

Required Skills:

  • Master Degree in Engineering, Bioinformatics, Math or related with 5+ years of experience or
  • Ph.D. with 3+ years of experience in a relevant position
  • Expert knowledge in designing, building, and testing scientific software and data analysis pipelines
  • Experience working in and developing infrastructure for cloud environments
  • Experience with cross-functional collaborations while ensuring data quality and commitment to analysis reproducibility
