Remote Vascular Surgical and Cardiology Evaluation Management Certified Professional Coder

Job Summary

A medical consulting company is in need of a Remote Surgical Cardiology Evaluation Management Certified Professional Coder.

Core Responsibilities Include:

• Maintaining a working knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding principle
• Being responsible for working directly with the IQC staff to ensure quality standards are being met for each facility
• Being accountable for coding or pending every chart placed in their queue within 24 hours

Skills and Requirements Include:

• High School Diploma
• CPC certification from AAPC
• Minimum 3-5 years outpatient professional coding experience in Interventional Radiology
• 2-3 years coding Vascular procedures. Other cardiovascular surgical coding preferred as well
• EMR experience; Advanced knowledge of Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Strong Working Knowledge & experience with Federal & State Coding regulations and Guidelines
