Job Summary

A company is looking for a Certified Professional Coder Representative.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review medical records to verify documentation for diagnostic and procedural codes
  • Ensure compliance with coding guidelines and regulations, monitoring trends and recommending improvements
  • Maintain accurate documentation of coding activities and participate in quality improvement initiatives


Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent; associate's or bachelor's degree in healthcare administration or related field preferred
  • CPC certification from the American Academy of Professional Coders or equivalent required
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in medical coding, preferably in an outpatient setting
  • Knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems and guidelines
  • Proficient in Google Sheets and electronic medical record (EMR) systems
