Security Analyst Tier 2
Job Summary
A company is looking for a Security Analyst (Tier 2) to join their team on a contract basis.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle security incidents, perform threat analysis, and work in a Security Operations Center
- Utilize SIEM technologies in enterprise and cloud environments
- Read inbound and outbound traffic, troubleshoot issues, and manage ticket workflow
Required Qualifications:
- 3 to 5 years of experience in Security Incident Response, Security Operations Center, or threat analysis
- Proficiency in using SIEM technologies within enterprise and/or cloud environments
- CompTIA Security+ certification or equivalent
- Familiarity with the cyber kill chain, Mitre, and cybersecurity frameworks and standards
- Ability to work after business hours, including evenings, overnights, weekends, and holidays
