Job Summary
A company is looking for a Software Asset Manager to oversee software asset management practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and strategize Software Asset Management for the Core Technology Organization, including onboarding and retirement processes
- Conduct program management and process engineering for cloud and open source software
- Oversee commercial software budgets, vendor management, and legal agreements while addressing vendor issues and negotiations
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience in business, technology, or finance
- Five years of experience in technology or software management within business operations or asset management
- Experience in contract management and technology sourcing
- Proficiency in managing budgets and implementing cost reduction programs
- Experience in presenting and communicating with senior leadership
