Structural CAD Technician
Job Summary
A company is looking for a Structural CAD/BIM Technician (Tekla).
Key Responsibilities
- Develop detailed 3D models using Tekla Structures for steel, concrete, or precast components
- Prepare fabrication/shop drawings, general arrangement (GA) drawings, and erection plans
- Coordinate with engineers, architects, and other disciplines to ensure model accuracy and integration
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or degree in Structural Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field
- 2+ years of hands-on experience with Tekla Structures in a professional setting
- Proficiency in interpreting structural and architectural drawings
- Experience with steel detailing, precast, or rebar modeling is an advantage
- Familiarity with BIM workflows and model coordination practices
