Job Summary
A company is looking for a Structural Stress Analysis Engineer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform structural analysis engineering work for larger commercial aircraft primary fuselage structure
- Perform detailed sizing and static stress of engineering detailed parts and assemblies
- Produce stress finite element models to support sizing and structural analysis
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical, Civil or Aerospace Engineering from a four-year accredited College or University
- A minimum of 10 years of experience analyzing primary airframe structure
- Good understanding of aircraft metallic structures analysis, manufacturing processes, and materials
- Proficiency in classical static stress analysis and allowables determination
- Proficiency in linear static finite element modeling and analysis
