Technical Writer
Job Summary
A company is looking for a Technical Writer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Represent the Training and Documentation department on project teams
- Research, write, edit, and proofread documentation within project timelines
- Create and execute documentation plans, review technical writers' documentation, and prepare releases of new and revised documentation
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field and 3-5 years of experience in writing and updating technical documentation
- Strong knowledge of government or human services, child support, and digital payments and debit card payment processing
- Experience working on large software development projects with significant interaction with various stakeholders
- Ability to interview subject matter experts and test documentation for validity and usability
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and knowledge of local and wide area networks, the Internet, intranets, and Windows operating system
