A medical group specializing in acute care solutions is in need of a Telecommute Clinician Documentation Educator.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Analyzing coder communication and other reports for trends
- Reviewing medical records and identifies potential gaps in clinical documentation for emergency medicine and payer populations as directed
Qualifications for this position include:
- Knowledge of and experience using ICD-9-CM, ICD-10-CM and CPT and HCPCS coding
- Knowledge of payer guidelines
- Ability to identify, research and solve problems and discrepancies
