Job Summary

A software company needs applicants for an opening for a Telecommute Software Payroll Manager.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Manage third-party vendors and the preparation, analysis and maintenance of all payroll related reports
  • Lead the implementation of SOX, designing and maintaining strong internal controls in the Payroll Process
  • Develop a continuous culture of mentorship, process improvement, training, and access in the payroll organization

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance / Accounting, or related discipline
  • 7+ years of experience in payroll operations, operating at a global, multi-national, publicly-traded company
  • Workday Payroll experience
  • Expert knowledge of US federal, state, and local payroll regulations, including payroll tax, reporting, and required filings
  • Strong organizational, change management and execution skills
  • Ability to attract, develop, re-skill, motivate, and manage a high-performing and high-potential team
