Virtual Technical Accounting Manager

Job Summary

A financial software development company has a current position open for a Virtual Technical Accounting Manager.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Overseeing accounting for stock based compensation program
• Researching new accounting guidance from the FASB, SEC and other regulatory bodies
• Assisting in the coordination of the annual external financial statement audit

Qualifications Include:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting
• Proven experience to make well-reasoned and timely decisions
• 6+ years of relevant experience in accounting and advisory whether in public accounting or industry
• Ability to work independently and within a team environment
• Outstanding project management skills to establish and meet deadlines
• Exceptional communication skills
