Job Summary
A company is looking for a New England Workers Compensation Claims Examiner.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze and process claims to ensure timely resolution by investigating and gathering necessary information
- Negotiate settlement of claims within designated authority
- Communicate claim activity and processing updates with claimants and clients
Required Qualifications
- 5 years of claims management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience required
- High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's degree preferred
- Professional certification as applicable to line of business preferred
- Knowledge of jurisdiction laws for CT, MA, NH, RI, VT
- Licensing in CT, RI, NH, VT, or ME (only one state required)
