Bioinformatics Programmer
Job Summary
A company is looking for a Bioinformatician to work on projects involving single cell RNA/TCR sequencing and epigenetic profiling.
Key Responsibilities:
- Apply bioinformatics and statistical concepts and computational procedures to complete projects
- Design new analysis approaches to analyze complex datasets
- Work with biologists in the lab to help them explore datasets
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in biological science, computational/programming, or related area
- 3+ years of related experience and/or equivalent experience/training
- Thorough knowledge of bioinformatics methods, applications programming, web development, and data structures
- Thorough knowledge of modern biology and applicable field of research
- Experience with analysis of genomics datasets and knowledge of R and/or Python programming language
