A company is looking for a Coder Inpatient.

Key Responsibilities

• Abstract, code, sequence, and interpret clinical information from various medical records
• Assign correct principal and secondary diagnoses and procedure codes while ensuring accurate sequencing
• Maintain compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements and track productivity levels

Required Qualifications

• 2+ years of coding experience in an acute care setting
• Successful completion of an AAPC or AHIMA-approved Coding Certificate Program
• CCS credential required
• Experience working with CDI nurses
• Experience with Meditech and 3M 360 preferred
