Job Summary

A company is looking for a Certified Coder - Otolaryngology.

Key Responsibilities

• Review medical records to identify diagnoses and procedures for coding
• Code evaluations and management to appropriate CPT and ICD-9 codes
• Assist coders and collaborate with physicians on documentation and billing processes

Required Qualifications

• Must have one of the following coding credentials: CCA, CCS, CCS-P, CPC, CPC-A, CPC-H, CPC-H-A, or specialty-specific coding credentials
• No specific work experience is required
• A diploma, certification, or degree is not required
• Knowledge of ICD-10 and CPT coding is preferred
• Previous coding experience or equivalent education is preferred
