Certified Coding Specialist Auditor
Job Summary
A company is looking for a Certified Coding Specialist Auditor.
Key Responsibilities:
- Audit inpatient cases for DRG validation
- Review inpatient medical records for validation of DRG assignment
- Evaluate claim reimbursement potential based on coding assignment
Required Qualifications:
- Current AHIMA credentials required; CCS preferred, RHIA & RHIT considered
- Experience with multiple EMR Systems such as Epic, Cerner, and Meditech
- Strong computer skills, proficient in Microsoft Suite (Microsoft Access experience is a plus)
- Must be able to organize workflow, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines
- Ability to work in a flexible environment, adapting to changing priorities
