Job Summary

A company is looking for a Claims Technical Director in the Specialty Human Services Division.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manages a significant inventory of complex claims and conducts thorough investigations
  • Analyzes and negotiates settlements, participating in arbitrations and mediations
  • Develops strategic coverage decisions and ensures accurate documentation of all correspondence and reports


Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Risk Management and Insurance, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of 15 years of experience in commercial property and casualty claims handling
  • Completion of a professional designation such as Associate in Claims (AIC) preferred
  • Extensive technical knowledge and skills in product and industry
  • Accountable for achieving performance targets and compliance with legal and regulatory requirements
