Clinical Documentation Integrity Liaison
Job Summary
A company is looking for a Clinical Documentation Integrity (CDI) Liaison.
Key Responsibilities
- Educate and support providers and clinical staff on documentation guidelines and quality metrics
- Monitor and analyze documentation accuracy and reimbursement impacts
- Create and present educational content for CDI staff and providers, ensuring compliance with coding rules
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree (or higher) in Nursing, Health Information Management, or related field
- At least 2 years of experience as a Clinical Documentation Integrity (CDI) Specialist
- Certification as RHIT, RHIA, or RN
- Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Nursing or Health Information Management
- Preferred: 5 years of experience as a CDI Specialist and additional certifications (e.g., CCDS, CDIS)
