Coding Education Specialist
Job Summary
A company is looking for an IAC Coding Education Specialist.
Key Responsibilities:
- Train new coding hires and provide education to existing coding staff
- Develop electronic training modules and tools/resources
- Research coding topics, develop education updates, and provide coding consultations
Required Qualifications:
- Knowledge of ICD-10-CM and CPT coding
- Knowledge of payor and coding guidelines
- Experience using personal computers in a Windows environment
- Ability to identify and solve problems and discrepancies
- Accreditation as RHIT, RN, CPC, or CCS-P
