Job Summary
A company is looking for a Core & Shell Estimator.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop detailed cost estimates for shell construction projects
- Perform material and labor quantity takeoffs from architectural and structural drawings
- Analyze vendor/subcontractor quotes to ensure cost efficiency and project feasibility
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in construction estimating, preferably in shell or structural work
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field (preferred but not required)
- Strong understanding of structural systems, including concrete, steel, and masonry construction
- Experience with construction estimating tools such as ProEst, Bluebeam, or PlanSwift
- Ability to accurately analyze construction drawings and project specifications
