Job Summary
A company is looking for a Non-Clinical - Health and Information Management - Medical Coder.
Key Responsibilities
- Validate and review codes for assigned providers based on medical record documentation while adhering to coding guidelines
- Resolve all assigned pre-billing edits and communicate billing issues to supervisors
- Participate in coding educational opportunities and provide feedback to providers on coding concerns
Required Qualifications
- Certification as a Certified Professional Coder (CPC)
- High School diploma or equivalent; an Associate degree is preferred
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Cardiology coding
- Experience with Epic software
