Job Summary
A company is looking for a Director of Data Governance and Management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all organization-wide data governance activities, including establishing and ensuring adherence to data policies, standards, and practices
- Improve the quality and manage the protection of sensitive data and information assets
- Serve as a liaison between business and functional areas and technology to ensure data related business requirements are defined and well understood
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Information Technology, or Business Administration (Master's degree preferred)
- 10+ years of experience in data governance, data stewardship, or data analysis
- 4+ years of experience leading information technology teams/organizations
- Knowledge of Data Quality, Metadata, Lineage, and MDM
- Ability to develop and lead teams of data stewards
