General Ledger Accountant

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Accountant.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform monthly accounting close procedures including journal entries, accruals, and reconciliations in compliance with GAAP
• Analyze accounting facets such as revenue and expense recognition and ensure accurate balance sheet reporting
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and uphold compliance with corporate accounting policies and controls

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting; CPA is a plus
• Two to four years of accounting experience
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting
• Experience with accounting software and databases
• Knowledge of multi-ledger accounting and intercompany transactions preferred
