Job Summary
A company is looking for a Global Component Engineer specializing in Conductors.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain standardized component requirements for consistency and quality
- Collaborate with global engineering teams to unify material specifications and ensure compliance
- Provide technical expertise to sourcing teams and assist in negotiating technical requirements with suppliers
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Material Science, Engineering, Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering, or related field with at least 5 years of experience, or a Ph.D. with 2-3 years of experience
- Preferred experience in the transformer industry and supplier technology development
- Advanced knowledge of component engineering and material specifications
- Familiarity with SAP S/4Hana and Windchill preferred
- Strong understanding of part qualification processes and quality standards in component engineering
