Inpatient Coding Quality Reviewer
Job Summary
A company is looking for an Inpatient Coding Quality Reviewer for a remote position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Review medical record documentation, coding, and abstracting accuracy using ICD-10 CM/PCS and CPT coding classification systems
- Conduct coding quality reviews to identify coding errors and ensure 95% coder accuracy
- Stay updated on coding guidelines and provide coding education to the coding team
Required Qualifications:
- Active credentials such as RHIT, RHIA, CCS, or CIC
- Minimum three years of coding or review experience
- Pass Guidehouse coding competency exam
- Knowledge of ICD-10-CM/PCS and CPT coding principles
- Ability to maintain HIPAA compliant workstations
