Insurance Verification Manager
Job Summary
A company is looking for a Manager, Insurance Verification to manage the Insurance Verification team and address client needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop strategic initiatives to improve outcomes
- Ensure accurate billing rules used by the team
- Verify all insurance coverages and determine patient responsibility
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education:
- 3+ years of experience in ASC, Hospital management, or with other healthcare provider revenue cycle operations
- 3+ years of management experience in revenue cycle managing either people or projects
- Comfortable with electronic and manual insurance verification
- Knowledge of ICD-10, CPT code, EOBs, financial reports, and state and payer specific rules
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations
