IP Network Technician
Job Summary
A company is looking for an IP NCC Tier II Technician responsible for the surveillance and repair of a multinational Ethernet and IP network.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and repair Ethernet and IP equipment and protocols
- Communicate effectively with customers and other stakeholders to resolve network issues
- Document work efforts in the trouble ticketing system and perform maintenance activities
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum of three years of experience in troubleshooting and repairing Ethernet & IP networks
- Associate's degree or equivalent from a technical school with related experience
- Experience with Juniper and/or Cisco routing equipment
- Basic knowledge of Ethernet Switching, IP Routing, BGP, MPLS, and Spanning Tree
- Experience with trouble ticketing and circuit inventory software
