Job Summary
A company is looking for a Loss Mitigation Underwriter I (Remote Eligible).
Key Responsibilities:
- Submit loan modification workups for investor workout options
- Negotiate short sale settlement offers and advise on loss mitigation decisions
- Manage account portfolio to ensure compliance with banking policies and regulations
Required Qualifications:
- A combined 3 years' higher education and/or experience, including 1 year in collections or underwriting
- Proficiency with word processing and spreadsheet software
- Ability to communicate effectively and professionally over the phone
- Excellent customer service skills
- Paralegal certification or experience preferred
