Job Summary

A company is looking for a Merchant Support Representative in the US, who will provide front-line telephonic queue support for accepting merchants, manage merchant/site setups and administration, handle exception management, contribute to operating performance, and assist with special projects as assigned.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide front-line telephonic queue support for accepting merchants, handling various research requests and completing tasks using multiple platforms and supporting applications
  • Manage merchant/site setups and administration, including rate or term changes, bank changes, settle entity administration, and 1099K compliance validations
  • Handle exception management, ensuring proper customer billing, merchant settlement, and revenue recognition, by managing error/reject corrections, ticket requests and disputes, manual transaction entry, and transaction diversion requests
Required Qualifications:
  • High School Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 3-4 years related experience in a customer service role
  • Must have OTR experience
  • Computer proficiency and experience with Microsoft Outlook Excel and Word
  • Must successfully pass a background investigation
