Outpatient Facility Coder Educator
Job Summary
A company is looking for an Outpatient Facility Coder Educator for a remote position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with development of education/training materials and conduct training for coding staff
- Provide support and act as a knowledge resource for trainees and staff
- Assist with system testing and updates
Required Qualifications:
- Expert outpatient coding skills, including surgical coding
- AHIMA or AAPC certification
- Experience with Computer Assisted Coding (CAC) and coding guidelines
- Proficient in ICD-10-CM and CPT coding
- 3+ years of outpatient facility coding experience
