Radiology Service Coordinator
Job Summary
A company is looking for a Radiology Service Coordinator-Remote.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle incoming calls from referring physicians, verifying identities and relaying results
- Act as a liaison between hospitals, clinical contacts, and radiologists to ensure effective communication
- Prepare examinations for interpretation by attaching relevant prior exams and collaborating with staff to obtain necessary information
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience preferred
- 5+ years of experience in a technical healthcare environment with multiple information systems
- Background in radiology or radiology administration preferred
- Familiarity with industry-specific systems such as PACS, RIS, and Voice Recognition
- Solid understanding of radiology applications and workflow processes in a healthcare setting
