Job Summary
A healthcare company is filling a position for a Remote Clinical Coding Operations Director.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Direct, administer and lead the coding team responsible for risk adjustment coding and quality assurance for all clients
- Oversee coding operations and capacity planning
- Oversee coder training and performance improvement
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Health Information Management, Healthcare Administration, Business Administration or related field
- 10 years of professional progressive experience in coding, finance, accounting, information services or related fields
- 6 years of managerial experience
- 5 years of prior experience of successfully managing Professional or Health Information Management Coding operations
- Current CCS or CPC ac and HHCC, RA accreditation or equivalent
- 3M Encoder or HCC Coder software experience
