Remote Clinical Documentation Coder

Job Summary

A healthcare services and support organization is in need of a Remote Clinical Documentation Coder.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Reviewing, analyzing and coding diagnostic information in patient charts
• Validating and investigating missed coding opportunities
• Auditing patient charts to ensure accurate coding

Skills and Requirements Include:

• GED or Bachelor's degree (preferred)
• Professional Coding Certification such as CPC, CCS, or CCS-P
• A minimum of 1 year of experience in advanced professional coding
• HCC coding experience required
• Proficient with payer policies and guidelines
• Familiarity with Electronic Health Records
