Job Summary
A health technology company is in need of a Remote HCC Risk Adjustment Coder.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Coding diagnostic information in a patients medical record
- Ensuring compliance with established ICD-9/10 CM, DRGs coding guideline
- Meeting and maintaining 95% coding accuracy rate
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- AHIMA or AAPC certified credentials (RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CPC,, CPC-H, COC, CIC, or CRC)
- 1 year of coding experience
- Extensive knowledge of ICD - 9/10
- Familiar with HCC coding
- Knowledge of medical terminology, medical abbreviations, pharmacology and disease processes
- Working knowledge of the business use of computer hardware and software
