Job Summary
A company is looking for a PRN Corporate Inpatient Coder (Remote based in US).
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately and productively code/abstract patient health documentation for assigned facilities
- Utilize coding abilities to review flagged cases for accuracy
- Assist in coding quality reviews/audits and participate in training new coders
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree or higher in a Health Information Management discipline
- 1-3 years of inpatient coding experience
- Knowledge of MS Office suite
- Technical background with electronic medical record experience
- Completion of at least one AHIMA certified program with a professional credential preferred
