Job Summary
A company is looking for a Remote Insurance Verification Representative.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and make calls to verify patient insurance coverage and document interactions
- Review claims and maintain patient accounts with current information
- Communicate insurance disputes and resolve consumer inquiries effectively
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a healthcare revenue cycle environment
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge of healthcare insurance, including managed care and reimbursement methodologies
- Familiarity with insurance coding requirements and medical terminology
- Ability to work from home with a suitable workspace and high-speed internet
