Remote Medical Coding Education and Training Lead

Job Summary

A healthcare consulting firm is searching for a person to fill their position for a Remote Medical Coding Education and Training Lead.

Core Responsibilities Include:

• Developing coding orientation and training programs
• Maintaining strict adherence to the guideline approval process
• Assessing the educational needs of coding staff

Required Skills:

• 2-year degree or equivalent experience
• AHIMA or AAPC certification required
• Minimum of 5 years' experience coding
• Actively holds one or more of the following credentials: RHIA, RHIT, CCS, CPC, COC, and/or CIC
• Experience coding two or more specialties with Facility and/or ProFee and/or Outpatient
• Advanced to expert knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, especially PowerPoint, Excel and Word
